Flu Symptoms, COVID-19 or Strep Throat?

A sore throat, fever, cough, fatigue, or body aches can leave you wondering what you’ve caught—and what to do next.

Flu and COVID-19 can cause overlapping symptoms. Strep throat can also cause throat pain and fever. Symptoms alone may not identify the cause, which is why a medical evaluation and appropriate testing can be helpful.

During your sick visit, Erin will review your symptoms and help determine whether testing, prescription treatment, home care, or another level of care is appropriate. A negative test does not rule out every infection.

Contact a healthcare provider promptly if your symptoms are worsening or you are at higher risk of complications. Some flu and COVID-19 treatments work best when started early.

What to expect at your sick visit

1

Tell us what’s going on

Share your symptoms, when they began, any recent exposures, and the medications or supplements you take.
2

Receive an evaluation and appropriate testing

Erin will evaluate your concerns and discuss testing based on your symptoms and health history.
3

Understand your care plan

Our provider will explain your results, treatment recommendations, and any follow-up needs. If a prescription is appropriate, medication costs are separate from the Sick Stack package.

Supportive Hydration During Illness

The Sick Stack includes Flu Fighter IV, which provides fluids and nutrients when your provider determines IV therapy is appropriate.

Infusion Supplements: Vitamin C, B-Complex, Zinc, B12.

  • Replenish fluids: Support hydration when illness increases fluid loss or makes it hard to drink enough.
  • Ease dehydration-related symptoms: Correcting dehydration may help with headaches, lightheadedness, and tiredness caused by fluid loss.
  • Provide nutritional support: Deliver nutrients involved in normal immune function and energy metabolism.

The Flu Fighter IV is not an antiviral treatment and does not cure influenza, COVID-19, or strep throat. It does not replace prescription medications or other necessary medical care.

Explore our IV therapy menu to learn more about available infusions.

Viracid: Immune Support to Take Home

Your Sick Stack includes a 12-capsule Viracid blister pack from Ortho Molecular Products, offering nutritional and botanical support for healthy immune function in a convenient take-home format.

Viracid combines:

  • Vitamins A and C, plus zinc, to support normal immune function.
  • Vitamin B12, pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), and L-lysine, alongside other nutrients in the formula.
  • Elderberry, astragalus, echinacea, and andrographis, botanical extracts selected by Ortho Molecular Products for immune support.

Erin will review your health history, medications, and other supplements to determine whether Viracid is appropriate for you and provide instructions for use.

Viracid is a dietary supplement, not an antiviral medication or antibiotic. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease and does not replace prescribed treatment for flu, COVID-19, or strep throat.
